It’s my avatar’s Rez-Day once again. I couldn’t do much of anything, since I’m in art college at the moment, but I did manage to grab a little present for her. I’ve been wanting this outfit for her for a long while, but either kept forgetting or never had the spare change to get it when I did. It’s The Dreamer set by BunnyStar Productions (Mhyja Questi) which I had put in my wishlist since I started and learned that you can buy things with money in Second Life.
I still have a lot of regrets for just standing by and not creating much of anything during the 5 years that I’ve been in Second Life. I would get inspired to do things, but then have all the motivation robbed from me and get overwhelmed with feelings of inferiority and believing that I have no creativity whatsoever. So I just like to enjoy things made by others instead, which I still continue to do…
But that’s alright. Miel looks good blending into the virtual world and in our little pockets of peace regardless. Happy Rez-Day, Kaibib Resident.
Last year, I had loads of fun at the Kagami event held at this sim. RIN-NE is an event much like it, being a story with some gameplay with a HUD. It’s put together by the same folks who had a hand in Kagami last year. It’s a horror story filled with more supernatural fun and Japanese mythological creatures and stories again. I won’t spoil too much, you should go and play for yourselves, the HUD and experience is free and I’m sure you’ll love the atmosphere if you love horror stories like this one. Here’s a couple of SLurls for you: The mall and the game. Continue reading “Chimera Youkai”
I usually don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and March this year happens to be an extra frustrating one so far… I am trying to do a challenge much like National Novel Writing Month, but for visual novels. And at this moment, I’m not doing so hot. I’ve been in an art block lately, and been really depressed, not really having he energy or the will to do much of anything. I just wish that it will pass quicker. I have some posts planned, and I hope to finish them soon, such as that one post about my avatar’s personas / SL OCs.

LaNoir Soleil Designs has returned after a personal break, and they bring another beautiful long hair and a nice new gift, both perfect for St. Valentine’s Day. The hair comes with a HUD with four valentine colors and the hairband’s color can be changed too. I’m so happy to see the artists back and hope they have been doing well. You can find them both at this month’s round of The Candy Factory! As always, the event runs from the 1st to the 14th of every month, so this one is gonna be up until Valentine’s~
I have been doing band on some of my New Year’s resolutions so I am working on it RIGHT NOW.

READ THIS PLEASE: This will be a somewhat long post of TL;DR personal issues that you probably don’t want to read. For the fashion, please keep scrolling.

The outfit that I wore today (save the cake and party hat), which is my birthday. 24 years old and still haven’t really accomplished much. Ah well. At least this time this birthday was fun, and I am thankful no drama happened on it. It’s not much, but I just would like to have at least this personal “holiday” to myself with as little nonsense as possible. There’s the rest of the year for that.
Parts of this outfit was a gift to me, and I really love it, since I don’t have much for the kemono avatar to make a full outfit. (Or I’m just not very creative when it comes to dressing the avatar) And though I wish the shoes also were human feet shaped, they are really cute.
Thank you both for a fun birthday~

I really love halos and angel motifs.

This is the first in a series of (very late) posts I wanted to do about the Hair Fair this year. I wasn’t able to do it sooner because of personal and technical reasons. But it’s better late than never, I suppose. I had managed to nab a few hairs during the event, so I will make even posts about them in pairs. Since I had bought two versions of this hair, causing the even number to turn odd, this hair will be blogged together. And that’s the inspiration for this set of looks – twins.

Cassopia (or Cassiopeia/Cassieopeia) was the wife of Cepheus, king of Ethiopia. Cassiopeia was very vain and arrogant, who had boasted to others that her and her daughter, Andromeda, where more beautiful that the Nereids. (Sea nymphs) Naturally, this pissed off Poseidon, ruler of the sea, and sent an ocean monster named Cetus to destroy the country as well as flood it. But the queen attempted to sacrifice her daughter to the monster, who was saved by the hero Perseus. Poseidon went after Cassiopeia directly and turned her into the Cassiopeia constellation, where she sits chained to a chair. (Or sitting holding a mirror)
I had put this outfit together a few days ago, but kept running into a crisis that I always get when wondering if I should use my photo booth or try and find a suitable sim to snap pics in. (And fight the lag during the while) So I did the latter today, after remembering the RMK Gothic sim, and I hope that they turned out okay.
